David King is a multi award-winning and internationally acclaimed theatre producer. He owns his own theatres in America, and has an honorary doctorate from Middlesex University in London for services to the performing arts. David has hit shows all over the world, and as executive producer of Spirit Productions, he is one of the biggest employers in showbusiness today.
He sought for decades to break into showbusiness management and his determination eventually paid off in 1996 when he wrote and created his first hit musical, 'Spirit of the Dance'. It became the biggest dance show in the world, with 14 troupes performing in 14 different countries on the same night, playing to more than 30 million people worldwide.
David has remained a hands-on executive producer and still creates and produces all the shows in his portfolio of over 25 productions.
He owns three major theatres in America: The Palace Theatre in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the largest theatre on the east coast of America, with 3,000 seats; The King's Castle Theatre in Branson, Missouri, where his shows plays year round; The Broadway Theatre, in MGM's New York - New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. He has ongoing contracts to supply major casinos in the US with entertainment and is one of the principal suppliers of entertainment to the Casino de Monte Carlo in Monaco.
David's shows have toured in more than 30 countries and he is the first producer from the Western world to have three consecutive tours in China, playing to over a million people.
Spirit Artists is David's international artist management agency, which supplies some of the biggest music acts in the world to corporate events and private clients. He has worked with Sir Elton John, Andre Bocelli, Liza Minnelli and Lionel Ritchie, to name but a few.
Emma trained at Bird College where she graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Dance and Theatre Performance.
Since graduating Emma has performed all over the world working in Theatre and TV and has now established herself as a professional choreographer. Emma has recently appeared on Dancing on Ice (ITV) and at the Barbican in ‘Crazy For Gershwin’. Emma’s newest production ‘Shades of Temptation’ can be seen in Las Vegas at the world famous New York New York Casino. She has been choreographing in America for the USA Premiere of ‘Rocket Man’ and the World Tour of the new Michael Jackson Tribute show ‘Man In The Mirror’ as well as appearing on ‘Dancing King’ for DMAX UK and ABC in Australia.
